That @PS3 really knows how to derail a thread

Well, so far from what I can tell, pretty much everyone who is a gamer plays down the violence in games and everyone who's posted or I've read about seems to be on the same level. Where as professional journals I've read seem to be pretty mixed, with most of them saying it has negative effect and the rest thinking it can have mixed results.

Have yet to read back at old threads on the board, but I can read up on them when I decide to take some notes about it. Thanks to everyone for their answers

Ha, ha, definately. Well anyway, I've slightly changed my research title so it includes the age ratings, so expect me to post a poll on the forum in about a week or so (when I have a better idea of what I need).

anyway, what rating is your version of CH? not that it matters, probably doesnt change the possible cut?

Look, I am 26 yrs. old...I am totally against censorship. That being said, not all video games are acceptable for all children. I do believe that gaming does affect your brain in some way. There are times (rarely) when I purchase or rent a game and crack out on it. It kind of engulfes you. Not all violent games affect me like that but some do. I remember when Metal Gear Solid first came out on ps. I thought it was a great game but you almost become part of it. Basically, be a parent, watch your child's behavior.
