HOLY CRAP!!! i think i got into the FFXI closed beta!!!! i just got an email from Squaresoft and they sent me an aplication for the closed beta! WEEE!!!....either that or they sent everyone that email whos a member of the playonline website....

I hope you get in man. I got an "application" for auto modellista beta testing, but I later found out that only a few people actually got in. Its like a job resume I guess, they look and see who's most qualified, even if you already sent in an application.

yah, if i do get in ill tell you everything about the game everytime i play it. hell, ill probably put a live cam of me playing it. ok.. im just getting alittle to excited.

The more I see and hear about FF11 the more I want to get it. I was sceptical at first but now I can't wait. Those new pics posted today aren't helping my impatience any...damn Arnold.

theres a strmv2 and 3 but they arent live cams. to those that are new to the FFXI live cam, 99.9% of the time its in a fixed possition. sometimes in a crappy area or sometimes out in the open field where you can see battles around you.

Sorry for bumping this thread so late, but I just wanted to say that I also got the closed beta application.
Just cause you got one, doesn't mean you're instantly approved.
They're going to carefully go through the ones they randomly sent out to find their final beta players
And the Beta isn't for the North American client, it's a beta for the Japanese client in North America. So basically it's the same thing as the Jap beta when they had theirs, except it's in NA. Game will still be in Japanese..
And the worst thing is, there's a 99% chance you have to know Japanese to get in. The final question was something like "Please explain in 1 or 2 sentances (In Japanese) why you think you would make an acceptable Beta tester". It wasn't worded exactly like that, but you get the picture.
