For those of you lucky enough to play both, which is better?

Personally don't have much experience with Halo, but Resistance is just great and online gameplay is addictive...especially with 40 people max in a game!

Word to Insomniac: Please get rid of the "Conversion" games in ranked mode.

I'm gonna say Halo, only because i know that i'm gonna enjoy Halo 3 online as i did Halo 2 online.

While both Halo and Halo 2 are great games, I have to go with Resistance. The weapons are much better, the level design is FAR superior, the story is a little better (though maybe about the same as Halo 2), the single-player campaign is more fleshed-out, and the AI is better (although the Halos on Legendary difficulty is comparable).

I don't play multiplayer that much, so I can't really say which is more fun online, but I DO know that Resistance is great on the Network, just like Halo 2 is on Live. I've also gone through both Halo 2 and Resistance co-op, and my roommate and I agree that we just had more intense fun with Resistance.

Of course, it may not be a fair comparison as Resistance is a next-gen title and both Halos are last-gen...it'll be a better comparison when Halo 3 comes out, I imagine.

I haven't played Halo enough online or off to really give it a fair say. I have complete access to it and have played it before, I'm just not a big fan of Halo. But I know for a fact I love Resistance online! I wish I had as much time to play as I used to, matches get addicting quick. The sheer variety and sweetness of the weapons make the game a blast, no encounter is the same.

I've played both game halo is fun but it's overrated so I would have to say resistance is better game has better story and better online play

i love fighting games... looking forward to Soul Calibur on the ps3 BIG time, but at the moment of release i will be very happy with Virtua Fighter.. or T5 RR.. though have that on psp, so might just get it for the HD factor... Hmm, i dont have HD.. might just get it anyways, lol.

I too am better at fighting games than FPS's.... and by the way i was playing last night, I am better at FPS's than i am at MGS online!! I suxd the big one! such a different way of playing a game online, amazing though, graphically and in gameplay.
