I just got the new Game Informer and it seemed like every preview was for a 360 exclusive. Now I don't care if they have good games but why is the next splinter cell going to be a 360 exclusive?! there are very few ps3 exclusives that I'm interested in. not GTA4 because sony lost that one also. so far its just MGS4 and DMC4 for me. Where are the exclusives??!!

Well, you might've heard of Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo, for starters. One of the biggest issues the Xbox had was a lack of top-notch exclusives outside of Halo and Ninja Gaiden, but the 360 is already doing better in that category. That's a good thing, IMO.

However, in addition to FF, GT, and DMC, there are names like God of War (you know a third GoW is going to be made for the PS3), perhaps another Twisted Metal, the Ratchet and Clank franchise, the Suikoden series, and several others. And while the 360 is sporting Blue Dragon, I think we all know the PS3 is primed to be a huge RPG system (just like the PS2) as it'll likely be the home of all those niche JRPGs that never get to other platforms. White Knight Story in early 2007 is only the first of many, guaranteed.

The PS3 will have its fair share of exclusives, just like the 360 and Wii.

I will never buy another Twisted Metal after the travesty that was twisted metal black (UK release version). What a shameful waste of my money.

The others are enough to make me want a PS3 though. You also have to remember that many but not all of the multiplatform releases will likely be better on the PS3 so the 360 could end up being an exclusives only machine.

I think I read somewhere (on this site I think) that this isn't going to be a PS3 exclusive.

Assassin's Creed is multiplatform; it's not a PS3 exclusive.

And when a game gets a 9.5 at GameSpot and averages over 88% at GameRankings, I doubt it can be called a "travesty."

Your version must have been different. Ours had NO story, NO endings. Simply pick up and play. I am pretty sure that you guys got a really great version of TMB. When you finished you just saw your car drive off into the distance past the camera. Sucked major ass. The gameplay would have been cool had I had PS2 online but I didn't (and don't).

Well, it had endings, but the story is hardly the point of TM, anyway. If you were playing that game for the story, regardless of which version you had, you'd be disappointed...but it's like caring about the story in a fighting game.

The gameplay was great with or without online. Unless your version was significantly changed beyond story, I still can't understand how that game "sucked major ass." That's the first time I've heard something even remotely negative about TM:B.

I just watched http://youtube.com/watch?v=sUXTI5R7MXw ("gameplay footage" shown at TGS) how did I miss this? The ending leaves me confused but hoping that Snake isn't old and grey..

Originally I just though that Snake's new suit allows him to do more than just take on the appearance of the backround. It lets change what he looks like. including his younger self. But that's just a guess...
