Default PS 1/PS 2 question

Was wondering if anyone knows how to save a PS 1 game using a PS 2 system. When trying to save a PS 1 game(Sled Storm) while playing it with my PS 2 it says that I have to install a memory card, which I have installed, and works fine with other games.

Is there no way to save my game? Will a PS 1 memory card work in a PS 2, and if so, would that work for this game?

Just put a PS1 memory card into one of the PS2 slots when playing a PS1 game. You'll be able to save. You just can't use a PS2 card to save a PS1 game (and vice versa).

I had that problem once. IF it doesn't read the card on Slot 1, then try Slot 2. I did that with Street Fighter Alpha3

Six years the PS2 has been around, and we still get questions like that.

I suppose the guy may have only just bought it. Damn you've missed out on some gaming if that is the case.

Ben is spot on with his advice.

As for Zigg, I've had that problem with a few games. Been ok since I upgraded to a slimline PS2.

I've had the PS 2 for a few years, I just don't get to play it that often for starters, and secondly, I've been trying to find used PS 1 games that I had a blast playing years ago when I had my PS 1 system.

More power to ya; playing older (but good) games is certainly a cheaper way to go.
