So, just out of nosiness, who here plans to get a Wii?

I wasn't really into gaming until Dillonthebunny and I got together and he bought me a Nintendo DS! Even though I've bought myself a PSP since, I much prefer the game range from Nintendo and I'm quite looking forward to playing the Wii and I've done what I can to hopefully get one on release!

There is a little bit of rivalry going on as Dillon is eagerly awaiting the release of the PS3 (even though he was VERY keen for me to place my Wii preorder! ) so I've come here for some objective answers:

What do you think are the essential games to get for a Wii and indeed which are those you think should be avoided?

I've heard that it will 'work with' the DS - does anyone know if this is just the Lite version or the ordinary DS too and can anyone explain how they work together?

Erm...that's all I can think of for now!
