Prices have been dropping on eBay since so many people are selling them now. I think the going rate is going to be in the $1200=$1500 until the end of the year.

According to some sources, the next shipment should be a week from now.

I would find it so funny of hardly any of these buy-to-sell machines got sold. I know I won't pay over the odds for it, If Sony are shipping weekely then it's not that painful to just wait a month or so to be able to get your hands on one for a standard price.

december 12th is when next ship ment of ps3 is coming (2 the us anyway)

I don't think anyone knows that for sure, just because Sony won't be updating the press every week during the holiday season. They just said they're sticking to the 1 million target, and shipments should be going out every week between now and Christmas. No exact numbers, though.

Ok on Psxextreme.com in the news section there is a Sony rep. that said all the PS3 were sold out during the holiday weekend. Also, in another news article on a previous day, that Sony rep. said PS3 will be available on or by the weekend of black friday. Well, on black friday i went to 3 different Besybuys, 3 different targets and called some other stores and all of them said we have not had any PS3 since they lanuched which was November 17th. I went to the stores and I was told the same thing. So, how were they sold out? I just know something isn't right and im getting Bullshit from the people there and the whole thing its kinda sad when gaming has come to this. So, if anyone can help clear this up it would help thanks.

We're only reporting on the news we hear. Any shipments received last week were going to be very small, anyway, especially with the need for filling the last of the preorders. You're also talking Black Friday...it's very unlikely you'd find any PS3s anywhere.

The time to expect these shipments would be throughout December, so keep looking. If Sony still plans to hit the million mark this year, they're going to have to get moving.

Could it be that all the second shipped units were already allocated to preorder customers? Consoles will only be available in the stores once the massive backlog of preorders have been filled.
