People got onto a line at Best Buy of Burbank, CA 10 days before launch. After standing 3-4 days, the cops came and told them to scatter...now THAT's a waste of time!

I'm not sure how many stores actually have fanatic gamers such as those in Burbank. I passed by a very busy Best Buy here, and there was not one person on line. Keep this thread updated with your plans to camp out or if you see lines forming at any of your shops.

How long do you think I should show up before midnight at circuit city to get a ps3? There's no way I'm going to show up before 7... ( I think)

A good question is what about these people that show up several days in advance (although it is coming out in a few days) for a ps3, stay there in line, then arent able to buy one due to lack of units??? Do you think they will feel both pissed and kinda stupid at the same time? Or even a range of other emotions may be mixed in with the incoming realization that they have wasted so many hrs of their precious life...

Well Arnold and I, aswell as couple of other friends of mine will be standing out for 10 hours @ a best buy in long island. I'm hoping to record the experience and see what goes down. Hopefully it will be worthwhile.

no way. I'm probably gonna drive by at about 7 and turn right around when I count more than 100 people in line. although I might decide to stay and maybe i'll win one

supposedly they're giving away a hundred PS3s...
