Anyone getting FFXII?

I'm not. Well I will eventually, but I'm playing WOW and I can't even handle this RPG itself, I definitely can't handle 2 at once.

So this is just to say that I hate all of you bastards that are getting it. With a passion.

Yeah, I have the CE and the guide, but I really don't have the time to play it right now. I'm thinking I'll get to it maybe around the last week of November. I'm only halfway through Valkyrie Profile 2 (and I never play two RPGs at once), and with the PS3 launch in a couple weeks, FF XII is really going to have to wait for the time being.

We should have a review up soon, though.

Got a great review in IGN, and clearly its going to be a very good game. So im sure many here will end up playing it eventually. Yeah im still pretty much on the WoW track myself for now, but im glad that the ps2 will have a good new game to be played sometime soon. This has been an awfully dry gaming year for ps2 so its good to know people will get a chance to dust it off and have some fun ... eventually me too.......

Is is online only? If I can play through offline like FFX then I'll add it my purchase list.

I'm trying to save enough cash between now and Christmas to buy 2-3 games in the new year sales.

Its a regular offline Final Fantasy. Finally! I definitley plan on getting it, I just have no idea when. Hopefully sooner than later. BTW I think PSM gave it a 9.5

This is the first time i turned my PS2 on since MGS3. And MGS3 did not impress me that much. Oh wait i also played, beat, and enjoyed Shadow of the Colossus.

But i did get the CE FFXII game and guide and I'm loving this game. Unbelievable game.

NOPE!!! never again will I buy or play an FF Title post 8. Square really fell off after 9, & now are feverishly trying to leach off of 7's success. Its sad, but true

FF3 was better then FF7. Also FF9 was the worst FF game but FF10 was excellent. Just because FF7 was so great doesn't mean Square has to top it and every game after it. This is was makes games like FF7, FF3, etc... good. If you stopped playing FF games because of that; then in my eyes you are ignorant.

I personally did not like MGS3 and stil think MGS Twin Snakes is the best MGS game but that doesn't mean i'm going to stop playing MGS games altogether.

Also i despised i mean i literally did not like Zelda: Wind Waker or Zelda Majora's Mask. But i loved Ocarina of Time. And because i despised both of those Zelda games again does not mean i will stop playing Zelda games forever.
