I have a vision of what 1 of the best games ever(strictly in my opinion) would be like. I'm wondering what you think. My "perfect" game would be as follows:

Online gameplay(through Playstation or Xbox).

Massive 3D world.

Players choose their characters name, basic ability styles(by choosing their parents races, each race holding different types of abilities), homeland, & complete visual appearance.

Storyline is based on your homeland & race, however, their are loads of secret & mini quests available to everyone.

Players can trade, chat, & play together in real time.

Players can fight eachother. Some areas of the world are Open combat areas, meaning anyone(player) can atack anyone else, at anytime they wish within the boundries of those areas. Other areas like towns & cities, are closed combat areas. But players can still challenge other players to combat, if the other player accepts, combat begins on the spot until 1 player dies, or ends combat( B*t*hs out ).

Combat is live & fast paced. Alot like Armored Core, or the new Dragon Ball titles. Your view is from behind your character, & you stay locked on to your opponent(which you can change at any time). Power moves are done using your weapon(which you choose when you create your character) you start combat by drawing your weapon, but you may put it away & fight hand-to-hand(usually faster, dispite lower damage) combos are viciously fast, but blockable. Counter attacks & combos have to be correctly timed. Magic also plays a part of course.

There are several combat stats to train(hand-to-hand, weapon, archery, magic, balance, accuracy, strength, defence, speed). As well as a wide assortment of other skills & stats you can train(Mining, smithing, fishing, hunting, horse riding, animal breeding, ect.).

There is a clan for every large, powerful nation of the world, depending on where you choose as your homeland, you will be part of a clan. You can move up in the ranks & get deep into the politics of war & trade, or become a " rebel without a cause" so to speak, & just travel about doing your own thing.

There is no end to the game, until you stop playing. Battle competitions are daily, big ons weekly, monthly, & the biggest yearly, which include prizes & fame .

The game puts you inside a world with almost no limits, you can build your house, start your own small clan & make your house its HQ, just about anything you want.

Its heavily inspired by runescape, but the graphics would be nice 3D, & ALOT better looking & feeling... something like Tekken 4...

Its hard to describe the vision in my head in words for you to use as a guideline, but I did my best.

As soon as I saw the skills/stats, I knew you were a Runescape fan... good times with that game.

I like your idea. Sounds like an online Oblivion/Runescape/Tekken mix.

I'm more into shooters myself. I'd like a game where you can play in small areas or big (like Halo), but it can be versatile in how many players it has (an all out 32 on 32 war, or a 4 on 4 skirmish).

Deffinatly Lefty. I enjoy "shoot or be shot" games, but I suck at all of them but Perfect Dark(Old school games are where I shine). If you could have a shooter where you can play Capture the Flag or something. Each team(of lets say, 4 - 32 players) has a fort, with a flag. the objective is to(obviously) capture the flag. There have been plenty of capture he flag modes in plenty of games, but they get boring. If you added a new, fresh edge to the playing feild, it might make for a better gaming expireince. Like, lets say... if you die, you become a POW in the enemy fort, & 1 of your buddies has to gain posession of the enemy flag to free you(& any other POW's). I got that idea from playing paintball with buddies. It kicked ass playing with POW's. If I was to make a game with amode like that, I'd make it so if your team is out numbered by the enemy(as a result of POW's), all players on the out numbered team enter a, "cammando" mode, if you will. Giving them a boost in speed, & defence or something.

I like creating games, not just playing them. I should be working harder on my latest project(the only 1 I plan on keeping & releasing on the net. Every other 1 I've scraped upon completion )
