Not good news for us Europeans that. Oh well I suppose it was to be expected anyway.

let me be the first and probably only person to say ..its not that bad.


Mainly because if there are problems with the PS3, they should be identified and fixed by the march UK release, plus the price might possibly be revised somewhat.
Also availability on hardware might also be in abundance rather than a scrambling for the pickings if we had the Nov date.

I know that if I had preordered a PS3 for this Nov I would be jumping up and down in anger and totally fuming about this, but I can see the woods for the trees on this one.

Fact is that if we Brits MUST get a PS3 and if we have money to burn then we can just buy and import one.

But for all those that have got the money and have preordered.. I do feel your pain.

I was actually quite pleased because I defo want one on launch day as I dont want to be stranded for months without one if there are delays but im proper skint at the moment!
So this will give me extra time to save, wohoo!!

I agree with you Dillon mate.
It may have initial problems be it hardware or software related. Hopefully if this is the case they can be ironed out before the release here. There will still be shortages though there always is. The only problem being with the delay is that the 360 will sell like hotcakes at Christmas and Ps3 will be quite a way behind before its launch.

I didn't preorder so it doesn't really effect me. It just means I won't be able to go round and play on my mates.

I saw this news and instantly thought 2 things. First, that's just more systems for the US and JAP, and second didn't they just release a new SCEE PS3 site yesterday? WTF...

Doesn't the UK, Europe, etc. usually get consoles last anyway?

It's more system in terms of ratio, granted, but that's not a whole lot of systems.

By saying we can't make a global launch due to production issues so f**k the European market, we'll go ahead with the US and Japan they really are just sticking up two fingers to a sizable market share.
