I absolutely LOVED Road Rash II on the Sega Genesis. In fact, a few years back (probably 4 or 5 by now), I bought a Genesis on ebay and got copies of Road Rash I and II.

Blech, simply put.

Mind you, Road Rash 3D was NOT a superb game, but it was much much much more fun than any of the original three games.

But my point was, why include all three on one collection (like the MK 1,2, & 3 on the Midway collection)??? Why not just include the one considered the best by the overwhelming majority?

Anyhow...

Man I haven't played a Road Rash game in looooong time. I know that at some point I owned 3D because I played it all the time with my friends, but I can't remember what happened to my copy. I'm assuming I got rid of it in some long forgotten garage sale. Whatever the case, I would agree with Mista and guess that it probably hasn't aged all that well. But when I was 12 or however old I was when it came out, it seemed like just about the coolest thing in the world.

Now Mortal Kombat 3, on the other hand, I still play pretty often on my old SNES (which somehow still runs, a fact that blows my mind every single time I succesfully turn in on). Still a really fun game and to this day the only fighting game I've ever really enjoyed.

I remember getting Road Rash 3d with Broken Sword and another game in a boxed set. I loved the characters and the music

what we need is an R_Type collection!

theres R_Type 1-3, theres the ps2 version, the late PS1 version.. also theres 'Super R_type' and for Wifi theres R_Type Leo...

its just crying out for it!!! all coud be done on the psp and look wonderful.

the best collection ive seen (and its not great but better than whats out) is the Capcom one with Strider.

Sega Genesis collection looks ok, but anyone with a sega saturn emu on their pc would of played these games a million times, so nothing new at all.

tho one collection that looks good is Metal slug anthology, that will be one I will be picking up.
