but anyway.. here is what they have to say about GTA:VC!


"The first details and screenshots came today from the Australian version of the Gamepro magazine . You'll be playing as Victor Vance - Lance's brother. Below are the screenshots and details from the article.

Victor, and his brother Lance, will be playing a big part in Vice City Stories. He's seen in the opening scene of GTA: Vice City, as he get killed by a SWAT team.


• The game takes place in 1984 - two years before GTA: Vice City
• Victor is a 28 year-old US Marine
• Players can now take on the water of Vice City With jet ski's!
• The animations are more life-like and is a ''step-up from previous titles in the series''
• A multiplayer feature similar to the PSP version of LCS is in the game
• VCS is ''much, much bigger than Vice City''
• Some landmarks are half-built or yet to be refurbished to their state circa 1986
• There's new or altered locations and buildings
• All new vehicles and weapons
• You can fly helicopters!
• Radio stations from Vice City make a return
• New weather effects that could include hurricanes
• You can swim in the game!
• Bikes handle better than before
• There's also no more seamless exterior-to-interior gameplay as seen in LCS (There'll be a slight loading time)
• A new addition in Vice City is the chunder-wheel, which you can ride in first-person view!
• Binoculars is in the game
• LCS is ''rookie first-gen PSP title compared to VCS''
• Draw distance is great and is said to be better than Vice City on PS2
• Trip skips make a return (If you die or get busted a taxi will take you back to the location where you received the mission from)
• New animations which give both the lead characters and pedestrians a whole new degree of humanity
• Far richer color palette that brings sunsets to all new levels of beauty, and realism
• Increased density of pedestrians, cars and objects
• Reduction in clumping (where groups of the same model type appear together)
• Far more interiors that its predecessors
• So far there's no word on character and vehicle customization, aswell as wall climbing"




... i think you will agree that if this is all true, which seing as there are scans from the oz gaming mag to back it up, that this will be one hell of a game.

imo, GTA:LSC was incredible. it for me was better than the PS2 version, and I know that me and my mates all said that seeing as this game was a first gen title, can you imagine what the next one will be like!?! plus we all said how we wanted VC as the sequel, seems like someone was listening


but seeing as Lance was a back stabbing son of a biatch, i hope we get to kick his arse all over again! he deserves it! lol.

ps, if that last bit was a spoiler then sorry but you should of played the bleeding game by now! lol

its going to be a sweet game. I'm just hoping the battery kill on the psp won't be as bad as lcs....

I was really disappointed with LCS... I sort of get excited thinking about all the "new" exciting stuff described above for VCS, but then I remember how ho-hum LCS felt. I pretty much doubt I'll ever get VCS. Unless I get bored and pick it up after it gets cheap.

thats cool, its not for everyone. and its not like you dont like GTA, because im sure you do.

GTA:LSC was everything and more for me, but it did wear thin after about 6 months, which isnt bad going, but it hasnt graced my psp in months now.

my main gripes with the game is that Ive always liked VC over SA and LC on the PS2. and the Music on LC/LSC wasnt good! at all!!

so it being VC on the PSP and the music coming back... i know even without the swimming and the jetskies... im pretty sure this will be a pretty amazing title.

I wasn't going to get VCS but now after reading all this new info I think I will be now. It seems like they learned their mistakes from LCS and this one looks to improve over the other one in every way possible.

You can even swim now!!! And it's larger than the original VC... Rock on R*!

Even vice on ps2 was GoD when I first played it. I couldn't get enough of it (well, except for GTA:SA)

I just used to dance in that bar and open up and Vice "Miami Vice" cops would arrive lol.

psplayer... Oct! you should get it around the 12th or something, and we will get it 5 days larter, thats how it usually works.

im usually bitter because its us Brits that make the bloody game! and yet we get it after you guys! lol but a week later isnt too bad, so i will stop my moaning.

and ryan... meh! anyway, i thought if it was any of the GTA titles you liked, it was VC?

plus it shouldnt be too much of a rehash, not in the same way that LCS was.


anyway, fingers crossed they dont give us ALL new songs, i kinda want a few of the old ones back.
