Wii Joins the Fusion Tour.

Get a sneak peek at Nintendo's new generation console.
Nintendo of America today announced the impending launch of the Nintendo Fusion Tour, a nationwide festival that marries music and videogames. This year's Fusion Tour will be headlined by Hawthorne Heights and will also feature bands including Relient K, Emery, Plain White T's and The Sleeping.

In news that's every bit as important, the Big N also announced that it will offer Fusion Tour guests a sneak peek at its upcoming Wii console. Nintendo did not specify in what capacity Wii would be on hand, but playable demos are likely. The company's top-ranking executives have stated on numerous occasions that they would like to offer consumers a chance to play Wii for themselves before the console ships.

You know, Dispite all the flak Nintendo has gotten being on the bottom of the console battle, The Wii I think has a good chance of out selling both xbox 360 and ps3 given the fact that there going to have some of the old school games available for download (god how I would love some Ikari Warriors online)I think this tour might be worth a visit

It's a cool idea, and I'm interested in at least giving it a shot (for Madden in particular), but no way in hell does it outsell the 360 or PS3.

Not in north america or europe. I'm pretty sure it has a chance to outsell them all in Japan, though.

I'd love to try the wii, even though I have no intention of purchasing one for a while.

Canada gets the stiffy once again!!

And the way Nintendo products sell in the Land of the Rising Sun I can see it outselling PS3 marginally and 360 by a landslide.
