Well another noteworthy free demo after Prey (See Aarons topic) is Chrome Hounds.

It is an enjoyable game but I did lose direction not long after the start. I went and killed everything at the designated base then expected to be provided with further instructions but nothing happened. If you got further than that please let me know where to go!




Side Note: I dl'd the PDZ demo and am so glad I never bought the full game. blech!


If I want any more demos I am going to have to delete something or buy a new HD!!

Is there anything you just didn't like about the Perfect Dark Zero demo? I heard the A.I is bad, besides that, seems like a cool game. The PlayStation 3 needs to hurry up, I am very close to buying a Xbox360. I'm missing out, and I'm getting bored of my PS2.

The AI was bad. The demo level was too dark to see what was happening (not a problem with my TV) and looked nice but not spectacular. Trying to pick up weapons on the floor was a bitch too. No where near as easy as Halo. If you didn't get your position just right you wouldn't get the exchange weapon icon.

There are also positions where you can press 'A' to go into cover. The two times I used this it put me in a position I couldn't see shit. It reminded me slightly of a poor Timesplitters.


I dl'd the demo of Rumble Roses. is all I can say at the moment.

The best 360 demo is the lost planet demo. I'm getting that game on day 1.

I thought I was doing well on the pirate level when I found the massive cannon and headed for the door at the end of the map.

I crapped myself when I went through and died within a few seconds. I still can't beat it though I get further each time. It's just so damn pleasurable to play.

On one side of the door I was a baddass, on the other I was nothing but roadkill.

The only reason I played the Lost Planet demo was because I had nothing else to play, so I was shocked to find myself enjoying it. I haven't gotten around to beating it yet, but I'm looking forward to playing more.

on the robot arachnid level I got as far as the cavern and then died. I ran out of frikken ammo!



Anyone beat the Front-line demo of ChromeHounds? Tips please.

I beat the Sniper demo easily and as it had an actual ending I am assuming the Front-Line demo should also.
