New Socom 3 maps!!!

It's about time. To be realistic I probably haven't played in about a good month. But the last time I did play ppl were constantly bitchin and complaining about how long the patches and updates were taking. I actually read the story from this site once!! SEE AARON SEE, WE DO LOOK. :P

But anyway it was good news except one little part I saw. $5.99 per download pack?? Not free, wtf Sony. So there are 3 packs in all so that's another 18 bucks, they better be some DAMN GOOD maps. Now if I can only squeeze some time back in for Socom. I've been in the single player realm for a few weeks with some good games, and if I go back now it will consume me. I must finish Resi 4 first and Black is out next week...man what hard decisions us gamers must face.

Bungie charged about the same for a grand total of 9 new maps. Luckily they were awesome maps, and Bungie had absolutely awesome support for the game both before and after the downloads, so it was worth it.

However, Bungie eventually also offered them for free. If you wanted the maps early, then you had to pay; otherwise, you had to wait a few months for free download.

If the maps are bad AND you will always have to pay for them, then it's a ripoff.

Since I'm in no real rush, I might wait awhile and see if they come out for free a little later. Only thing is the article said they were coming out months apart. If I have to wait for all 3 to be out for awhile before they release it for free, then I'll probably end up just paying for them....maybe.

ive been playing the psp S:TFB for ages now.... played it to death, superb game....

but i had to cheat and use a game save in the end to get the extra stuff from Socom3 over the net! lol.... i will be an old man by the time its out here

looking forward to it tho... even tho I have lag on a lot of my online games.. surprisingly the games that play the smoothest is Timesplitters 3 and Socom 2... so will pick it up for sure when it finally comes out..
