360 Launch Titles: Good or Bad?

So, what games have you played? Which left you feeling cold and ripped off and which left you shaking with excitement and pleasure?

Bought:
Condemned
PGR3

Recommend:
Both

Though not the grahical leap I was expecting (Partially due to my crappy TV) they are both darn good games when you get into them. Condemned will have even the tough guys screaming like girls and PGR3 is very enjoyable though I think it's too easy to get the best cars and the A-E categories aren't distinct enough.

If you can afford them I'd give them both a

The purpose of this thread btw is just to get a general opinion from people instead of reading through countless long reviews.

I have however checked out the xboxnerds reviews for both my games and agree fully

I think Madden and Condemned are very good. Although people have complained about features in Madden being taken out.

Of the other games I have played, the gameplay in the Kameo demo seemed good, I got it in the mail yesterday from Gamefly, so I'll try it out later tonight when I get off of work. Perfect Dark Zero is TERRIBLE. The thing it has going is the graphics, other than that, stay away from it like the plague. Quake 4 is pretty cool, it's just old-fashioned shoot-em-up FPS fun.

Perfect Dark Zero is hardly terrible
*single player can get boring, and is at times confusing
*Live player is tons of fun

Condemned is a GREAT game, very scary and dark. One of the best games i've played to date

Kameo is an awesome platformer, and can hook you easily

Madden has some great graphics and great replay value

COD2 has to be the best single player experience i've ever seen...hands down, no contest

Quake IV is pretty good from what I've played, I just picked it up today so I haven't had too much time with it yet

I think your weak launch titles would have to be:

Tony Hawk, King Kong (which I've heard is underated), and Gun

...all the rest of the games I can't speak for because I haven't played them or I don't own them.

Bit off topic but how much are the launch titles in the US?

Ive been goin on PLAY.com and i wasnt surprised to see them at £39.99 but i went into my local Woolworths at the weekend and couldnt believe they were £49.99!!

Play.com is the only place I've seen then that cheap. Everywhere else charges closer tp £50.

Have a scan down the 360's accessories.
Nearly everything is out of stock!

I wanted a player 2 controller

Ah, I was hoping Perfect dark would be awesome. Pocky no likey. But according to Frosty, it is a good game. Guess I will have to try it out at a friend's house sometime.

WOOT!!!

Well guys, good news, i will be one of the first in line for a ps3 when time to put a deposit down arrives. My local EB is letting us sign up to be first in line to put a $50 down payment when the pre pay period begins. I went over last night and signed up, im like #8 in the line so will be able to put my money down for the new system! PS3 in 2006!!! I will be one of the first here in the states!!
