Ssx 3 Help

I cant seem to get any of the cheats to work ? tried typing them in the cheat menu then hit done , and nothing....what am i doing wrong !? some cool cheats if anybodys got em would be cool (if i can figure out how to use em!) thanx

DONT CHEAT.. PLAY THE GAME NORMALLY BEAT IT.. THEN CHEAT..
