You are all probably wondering, "why the hell does Vision GT look like a better looking GT4?" Well, you are essentially right. Polyphony has confirmed that it is indeed a high-res GT4 with added stuff. If you don't believe me, look at the screenshots of the pit crew. You will notice that on their chests there is a logo that clearly shows "Gran turismo 4" on it. So, don't start dissing on the subpar graphics yet. It is just an underwhelming tech demo.

They havn't even really started on the game yet, or yet at that point. That demo was nothing more than GT4 stuff running on PS3 hardware.

I didn't even know the 'demo' existed.
I'm not actually interested either, but at least this post was new information to me.

Well, it isn't even officially announced for PS3 yet. So it is way too early to even guess. However, later this year I believe, Gran turismo 4 portable will be hitting the shelves. That should satiate the thirst of PSP racer fans for a while.
