Just dug out my old NES and played about two hours of Super Mario 3.
Man, it sure would be nice to have a "save game" option in that game... Do any of the remakes (for newer consoles and portables, etc.) have that option?

Yeah, I believe they do. The last few levels of that game are a bitch. It makes it all the more satisfying when you beat it though - staying up all night, fingers hurting, cursing the television....

Yeah the SNES version has a save feature. Super Mario 3 is probably the game that launched me into console gaming, and seeing how much money and time i put into gaming id say that is significant for that reason enough, hehe....
