You can use some programs to convert the dvd to a file, then to mp4, then transfer it over to a memory stick with a usb cable, but movies will probably be huge files, you'll need a big stick or to compress the file quality.
This might help you http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000980024404 I'm not an expert at all on the subject though, so if anyone else has better information, do tell. |

First, make sure your computer has a DVD drive. Next, find a program that will allow you to rip your DVDs onto your computer (I don't know of any). After that, do a Google search for GP3 converter, and download it. You can also dowload PSPVideo9. Don't worry, you can change the language to English on GP3. These programs let you convert your movie files to MP4 format, the only format the PSP will recognize. After that, just hook up your PSP to your PC (using a USBmini-to-USB cable, I think it's called. That's not included with the PSP. They usually come with most digital cameras or MP3 players. If not, you can buy one for $10). Now, here's where it gets tricky...
First you have to open up the PSP folder. There are folders for game saves, music, and pictures. There's no folder no videos. You have to create a folder called "MP_ROOT" and then inside that folder, you create a folder called "100MNV01." That's where the videos go. Simple drag and drop.

Usually between $10-$20, more for the ones like gold plated Belkin ones.. But don't buy Pelican ones, I bought it just for the USB charging feature, but the USB transfer part is total crap. Luckily I already had one from my minidisc.
Buy one that isn't marketted for PSP by third party companies though, thats my suggestion. Find one that's marketted for cameras, mp3 players, etc, something that is actually more computer related. You can probably easily find them at Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp USA, maybe Wal-mart. But look in the computer sections, not the game sections, like I had said, as my advice. |

I think this should be the right one, hopefully the link works.

Download a program called DVDDecryptor, google search it. This will allow you to rip your DVD movies into your pc.
Download a program called 3GP Converter which will allow to convert your DVD movies that you have ripped into MPEG4 format. Follow the directions of the 3GP Converter on how to transfer the files and you're set.

Yeah, so far 3GP is the best converter available for MPEG4 converting.
