Anyone else playing this? It's pretty darn good so far. The graphics are nice, the cities are huge, and once I switched from 3rd to 1st person, the controls were pretty good. Even the music isn't too shabby so far.

But the load times. God, the load times. I put the psp down, checked my email, went in the other room, came back, shut down my computer and the level was STILL LOADING. We're talking a minute at least. Blah.

have you got the bikes yet? to be honest that was the only reason I was going to pick this up.. what are they like?

Yep...got it on launch day. Great so far but the damn load times are insane!!! I timed them on my cell phone and they were around 70 secs or so every time.....

I thought maybe the game was loading all the traffic and the level but then I read a review on ign or g.spot and they said that all that was already loaded, so wtf takes it so long to load is unknow to them. (Really, wth is it doing if the cars, level, traffic is all ready there???) I know this is 1st gen software but look at wipeout...it loads WAAAAYYYYY faster than MNC 3 does.
Besides that 1 itsy bitsy gripe I'm lovin it

Music is the best sound track I've heard and really liked in awhile.
Haven't got to the bikes but haven't got to play much due to work , but I'm almost done with Detroit I think I have a DOGE SRT4 a LEXUS I300 (I think), and a Chevy Impala I still haven't fix up yet...but I have like 2 or 3 city races and like 1 tournament still on my map and no more new street racers poppin up just a guy named Phil I think who rides a chopper. maybe it's the beginig of the bikes??? Give you an update when i get one.

Yeah, I can't figure out the load times either. I mean, the whole city is loaded, and you drive to the race point, and then BAM you sit for a minute. I assumed it was loading traffic and the race A.I. but man, it's nuts. It seems like a huge game too. I'm barely scratching the surface and I've been playing for hours.

Yeah I've been playin for awhile too and am still in the 1st city. The game seems gigantic, and I take that back...that phil guy is in San diego, the 1st city. (for some reason I kept thinking the 1st city was Detroit)

Sold the Impala, won a Bel Air 57' and a Chrystler 300c WOOT!! No more tournaments left so I guess I'm finally gonna take that Phil guy down.

About the game being big I read in the instructions you can go back to beaten cities and new races pop up.
