Just hope this is in the right thread cause I know it is a question but it is game related.... so sorry if it isn't..but...Does anyone know if there are any places online that are taking preorders right now for Xbox 360? All the local game stores around my area are completly filled up already and are already on the second shipment which isn't untill like december if they told me correctly..... any help is appreciated.

have you tried the big names like Wal mart (or what ever its called) and Amazon?

you could try Lik-sang, but it being an American Console, I would of thought that places like that and PlayAsia wouldnt be your first port of call.

Try EBWorld or GameStop online, they may be able to help you out, Strict. Even Buyrite.net may have what your looking for. Im not getting it so i dont have to go through that, but i guess i need to start looking at a down payment for ps3...

yeah, me too.... if the PS3 was ages and ages off then I would be thinking about a X360... but im going to wait and try to preorder a PS3.

but I will be going through Lik or PA... the import companies in the UK are rip off merchants.

I'll be buying the 360 long before the PS3. Ive really been addicted to live. And the 360 is going to take that to a whole new level. So i'm all for it.

GameStop isnt taking pre-orders on the ps3 yet so i will keep checking with them over the next month or so, i expect by September they may very well be...

I'll also be checking for PS3 preordering. I think I'll go with Virgin again as I did with the PS2. I won't be buying a 360 at launch but I probably will get on at some point.

I got my first ps2 through GameStop and will be getting my ps3 through them, and will be guaranteed of being one of the top 3 people buying one from my local store. Just put $50 down on a xbox 360, which my manager friend will switch to the ps3 when it becomes available. So i will be guaranteed to be one of the first to own a ps3. He even let me trade in my copy of DMC3 for the $50 down payment, which was very nice. Im sure they wouldnt have bought the game back for that price under normal store conditions. I played DMC3 for two hours and never looked at it again. PS3 I WILL BE THERE WHEN YOU ARE FIRST DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
