Im kinda curious about this one too, I read a preview for it in OPM a couple of months back and they said it was shaping up to be a good game, but now all the reviews are sayin 6 out of 10 and 7 out of 10.... which does't say its a bad game, but I would like to hear someone elses opinion

Hmmm... interesting, PLAY mag gave it 8/10.. but thats the only review ive seen, still im planning on leaving early to buy it today...

Oh hell yeah flinging cows all over the place blasting humans with ray guns, flying spaceships.... whats not to love..... But I think im going to rent this one this weekend and see whats up

good plan, I dont rent games.. so I'll just take the plunge... but if you rent games normally... probably a very good plan!



I love that film 'Mars Attacks'... and I can see that this game really tries to be a homage to all B-films in the genre, I cant wait!

lol.... I love it when Aaron reviews a game...

I was going to start this off with "I never agree with your reviews"....

but then I thought about it.. and you know what it is?

Aarons reviews are indeed that lil tiny voice you hear in game shops... you know that one called doubt.

your at the shelf looking at games thinking "ohh, i want that".... then the lil voice of Aaron comes up "rent it... its shit to buy"... you shake it off and go buy the game.

later that night you sit there and CONVINCE yourself that you had to buy it cus erm.... er.... its got replaybility (ahem). Knowing damn well that maybe you should of brought Tekken 5..


ok... so yeh, I was going to say "youre wrong about AHMD" but you have hit the nail on the head...


but I did buy AHMD and im glad I did, because its a superb game, great visuals, brilliant extras (like whole movies to watch).. just superb to kill humans, I wish there were more games like this.


but reading Aarons review... he's right 100% (ish, lol) but if your like me who likes these sort of games and can spend hours tipping cows etc.... then it deserves at least an extra mark... say its an 8 rather than 7, mainly because he was rather harsh on the graphics. personally I think they are superb... I change to 60htz, and widescreen... but I wish I had prog scan to make the game really shine


still, its a cool game

but erm… Tekken 5 might be a better game… haha

its a good game, all in all Aaron right.. rent it first.

I love B-movies anyway, so it was right up my street.. but its not for everyone.

Haha. You may have been the first person to ever rationally discuss how they feel about someone's reviews. Nice work.

I am hard on games, but that's because I play a lot of them, and I expect more than what I typically get out of them.

I have never had tons of money, so when I did get to buy a game, there wasn't room for error - I had to get something good. I feel like most people don't have $50 to just throw around, so if I think they can get all the game has to offer in a weekend, I don't hesitate to recomend a rental.

I would imagine that I suffer a bit from the "jaded gamer" stigma that comes with playing so many bad games, so sometimes a stinker or an average game with a large problem drives me nuts. You see the same stupid issues over and over and it makes you crazy. Poor cameras, fetch quests, long load times, crates, stealth when the game isn't a stealth game... those sorts of things.

But again, I enjoyed your post. It's nice to get feedback.
