I also wondered about the lack of a live feed at Gspot.

A little bird told me that it is due to two reasons:

One is that IGN was given exclusive rights to show it live.

Two is the dedicated server at Gspot for the webcast was overwhelmed by intense demand and they are using the few hours grace period to get more servers online.

Gspot WILL show the confrence but it will be delayed(NOT live) by either an hour to three hours.

But then what do I know.

Anyone heard anything else?

IGN isn't carrying the either press conference live, either. MS is webcasting theirs on http://www.xbox.com, while nobody yet knows what's up with Sony. IGN is showing the Sony conference at 7pm EDT (4pm PDT), which is roughly about an hour after start time.

I'd rather just be there-- but since that's not happening, I'm just doing what I can from here.

Hmmmmm.

Strange that no one is going to do live webcast.

Kind of dovetails with another rumor that I picked up a few days ago that Sony was against the webcast since it did not promote the news sites.

I guess Sony wants the news to be posted on all of the gaming news sites and regular news sites before it is available via a webcast.

And I think Nintendo feels the same way with only MS going for the webcast

I think most of us have seen the pics over at IGN, but here the rest of 'em are anyways. The system looks pretty slick...I'm not sure what to think of that controller though...

G4 will be having live feed from E3 starting tomorrow and will be having a lot of shows involving it. That will be my main way of directly checking out the event... starts at 6 pm cst...
