Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED

Nomura has announced on the ShinRa website that the release date for Advent Children is set for September 14th, with a price tag of 4,800 yen. There will be a simultaneous release of a limited edition version, though the pricing has not been announced.

He revealed that all rendering is complete, and only the film's audio component is left. The audio is expected to be finished at the end of May, with synching starting in June, and the final preparations and editing starting in July. Promotions and production will start in August. Nomura promised that there will not be anymore delays.

I really cant wait for this, its gunna kick ass, hopefully it wont ruin the end of FFVII too much (if at all).

I think they should just release it with English subtitles. Dubbing will make the UK/US releases look strange but then I guess the effects of dubbing aren't as noticable with animations as they are with live action.

Doesn't make a difference to me. I watch all of my movies from another country in the original language anyways. It just seems wrong when I watch Hero, House of flying daggers, and Crouching tiger hidden Dragon in English. (All of these are of my favorites) So I will be watching it in Japanese anyways.

INDEED!

plus if you watch it with subtitles with English language you will notice that it differs from itself. usually the subtitles are made from the original language rather from the English. Spirited Away was a very good example of this.

I watch mainly watch Hong Kong cinima films and you just cant watch them in English.. imo.

Advent Children may well have English subtitles.... I would be slightly surprised if it didnt, but we'll have to wait to see.
