The giant monsters look incredible. I still personally feel that Ico is one of the most underrated and underappreciated games of all-time. I love the artistic approach to the graphics, and it looks like the environments in Shadow of Colossus are going to be several times more massive than those in Ico. Mark this one up on my "Must-Have List".

On a side note, EGM has ICO listed as one of the most overrated games of all time. I loved it, but they say that looking back, it doesn't deserve the hype.

That's a big steaming pile of bullshit right there. I don't recall any major publication giving ICO anything higher than an seven out of ten. Some might have, but the majority of "big-shot" reviewers gave the game only average scores. To say it is overrated at all is ridiculous. If the game was nothing more than just walking around the environment I would have still loved it, I always stopped and looked around to marvel at the incredible detail in architecture and the vastness of the game-world.

Hey, Ico was a fun, pretty, game, for all of 7 hours, lol........... got it and sh2 on a rent one get one free three years ago...

you know... i love games. and im a big bloke (not in that way)... and maybe not the most sensitive guy in the world..



but even I had shed a tear when I completed Ico. I know I know... silly, and it wasnt a total breakdown or anything like that, but when I saw Yorda on the beach a tear did trickled down my face.

no other game has ever ever touched me in that way. I know from most of you guys that you also love it... EGM should be shot.


no idea what the new Ico will be like, I hope to god that its totally different, and by the sounds of it, its pretty different! lol...

the fact that they have replaced Yorda with a Horse, yet your emotions towards your horse carry on from Yorda is mad!

but a great idea.

Naw ICO was a great game and EGM sucks anyway so screw them. I will definitely pick it up sometime.
