I really REALLY hated the Dreamie pad, yes it was kinda well designed... ahem.

but a crock of shite still, but what a system. again I wasnt convinced when it first came out, but I soon played SC1 and fell in love. its a shame my budget at the time didnt stretch to owning one, cause I do regret not ever owning a Dreamie.


but yes, im wasnt best pleased with the Xbox, I would go as far to say that I hated (still do) Bill Gates and his money... but at the end of the day if its a good console then people should buy it because its good. I never used to think of things this way until the Xbox came out, and I slagged it off then, but I have to admit that its done rather a good job! mainly because its not a bad console.


lets hope the 360 does a good job at launch.. cause im not being funny, but I really honestly think that the Xbox2 cannot hold a light to the PS3 in terms of power and general graphically witchery.

but isnt that what people said about the PS2 and Xbox? that the Xbox was this and that and as powerful as a volcano? well, its not that powerful. I havent seen a single game on the Xbox that the PS2 couldnt do, yet there are plenty of games that the Xbox couldnt do or struggled to do when it had them. Go figure, but I do think that the 360 could be a great thing… could even be another Dreamcast! But if they start promoting it like its god (via MTV)… that’s not always a good thing, and the higher it stands the further it is to fall.

Actually that's one reason I think Sony isn't advertising the PSP like crazy. Sony really has nothing to lose and everything to gain in the handheld battle, Nintendo is the one with everything to lose. Sony can sit back make a few AAA games and add some extras to the PSP and there starts a new empire in the handheld community.

As for the Xbox 2 I think them rushing it out before the PS3 is gonna be a mistake. They figure we'll the PS2 was out before us last time and had more installed user base due to that fact. So to counter they say we'll how about we launch a year in front of them this time and we'll have the advantage.

The problem in their thinking is major.
1. It cuts the original Xbox growth, as things seem like they are at there best for Xbox right now.(it's titles sell almost even with Sony's right now and Live is on fire.)
Whice cuts a year off the console when better games for the system could be made and they can catch up on some of the revenue they lost due to hardware cost of the original Xbox, whice should be about breaking even with the way software is selling as of lately. Instead they rush to the forefront with a new console (more spent money) whice puts them back in the position of losing money on hardware untill software sales catch.

2. The main reason why Xbox was soo superior to PS2 was the graphic department. I think the edge will go to Sony but Xbox2 isn't a slouch at all from what I've been reading. But this gives Sony time to sit back and rethink and or add anything they want to PS3 after Xbox2 is already out . Also Sony keeps making GREAT PS2 games (that are some of the best games this generation has seen I think) for a extra year and earn more money than MS will make while selling those Xbox2's. With a new Jax, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet coming in the fall I think Sony will have no problem selling software.

3. And finally the PS3 is backward compatible!! All my PS2 games shalt go wasted cause I can still play them "if I wish" whice is a GIANT factor I think. Also the PS3 will sell just because of the Sony name and exclusive titles they have. Hell I have one n launch day, what about you?
