I figured the comment about ports and long load times would give it away, or Jackie Chiles (Kramer's lawyer in Seinfeld) might be a good hint.

I wasn't going to do anything cause I had to work a long day, but I got up at 7am, just cause I couldn't pass it up.

It was the final sentence that really did it for me:

"We’ll obviously have more on this story as it becomes available, and don’t forget to check back for all your April Fool’s needs. "

That kinda tells you directly it's a joke.:P

I usually play some good jokes on my friends, but since I travel so much, it's kind of tough to do something from out of town. At least I was able to do something.
