Heres one I found.

Quote:
Don't like your PSP autobooting when a disc is in? Here's how to get around it.
Getting annoyed when you want to access the home menu on poweron but you left a disc in, and you have to keep hitting the home button and wait for it to reload the home menu?

Here's how to get around it.

First, set your parental control password to 0000 (The default)
This is also the default in the password asking dialog (Which is why this works)

Now, set your parental control level from Off to 1 (The maximum level of parental protection) Now any game, movie, or music UMD will ask for the password. Since it's set at 0000, the default password in the entry window is also 0000, simply press X to start or press O to go directly back to the home menu.

It also asks on poweron if a disc is inserted.

The only caveat is if you have kids you don't want playing adult themed games and have already set a password....

These are the things you miss when you have a Japanese system before the US launch. People figuring things and doing some really cool stuff with the system. Color me excited. Not sure what color that is, but still...
