PSP Launch Reviews (Updated 3/30/2005)

To me, it's looking like Twisted Metal, Ridge Racers, and Lumines will be the games I'll get with the unit on Thursday (I just have to convince my bro of the latter two). I was planning on only getting Twisted Metal with it, but then I was informed of the EB deal where you trade in 3 PS2/GCN/X-Box games and get a PSP game for free. We have about 8 or 9 games that we never touch that we could trade in (and that are also not on the exclusion list, found here).

Actually, I wasn't convinced on Lumines until I saw this video (the link to the download is a little ways down the page). The music goes perfectly with the game, and the effects and backround "skins" as they are called look awesome. It's pretty much Tetris on crack :P

Yeah, it's a tough one to describe. That's a case where a video is worth a thousand words.

List updated to reflect Spidey, Metal Gear and NFL Street.

I am so tired of NFL Street. I think this versions rather craptacular, but I know that some peeps didn't play the second version and will enjoy this one. How can you still have rosters that are no 6+ months out of date? Load times that are 45 seconds? Kill me.
