Try a design that lets you stack 128 cell processors so that they have no need for over clocking thus doing away with the heat problem.
And the military is looking at this solution for the next generation of supercomputers since there is no limit to stacking with 1024 cell processors per stack with the design calling for 2048 stacks. Blow your mind. You folks are jazzed for the PS3 ,but this is a peek at the PS4 capability and way beyond. http://www.trusi.com/throughsiliconvias.html

http://news.com.com/2100-1001-206423...=cnet&dtn.head Thousands of links like that. But then I guess to some folks^^it is still something new to consider that the military is always out to get and use the latest technology including any and all types of advanced supercomputers and chips. But if you want to get the exact contract number for a project there is the military contractor website that you can also check on by going to Dun and Bradstreet and yes the Cell chip is amoung them for new military hardware including super computers just like the one whose project specs you read. The one they want now is a five thousand terraflop super computer. So that means five thousand cell chips in a super computer grid and that is where the first link comes in. As compared to the paltry one hundred terra flops of red storm. Comprende?

uh...that link says nothing about the cell chip. and its from 1997, hardly a good article to be reading since its almost 10 years old. i'm not sure where youre getting this information about anyone wanting to use the cell chip..or a ps4 for that matter

So Ryan, how're the anger management classes going?
Russell, I think you should find some more current data man, I heard last week that the gov is making an unmaned tank that runs purely off of the 8 Bit NES system. They are still struggling on making it go diagnally, however.
