Played God of War yet?

This game is great, has anyone else tried it? I got the demo acouple of days ago and I havnt put it down since. I have played through it like a gagillion times haha

You can get teh demo on their site www.playwiththegods.com its a definite get now. They use to have it that when you registered for a copy of the demo on this site, that you would win it at random now its a definate giveaway.

Coming out this next week, i believe, ive got my copy reserved payed in advanced. IGN gave it a 9.8, almost perfect, this will be entertaining, ive played the demo and i think it will be a lot of fun... think it comes out the same day as the psp...

I saw this on TV the other day in an interview with the creator. I didn't see all of it, but the parts i did see made it seem pretty good.

BTW, in case no one knows already, there won't be Online play, the creator confirmed that.

May just be out Tuesday now that i check, will let you know. Doesnt matter about online for me, doesnt seem like an online game from what i experienced...

It seemed fun at first. Very cinematic and fun scripted action sequences. But the actual meat of the combat appears to just be button mashing on circle and triangle.

I'm sure there is in fact more depth. You only get to use one weapon in the demo. I'm just saying that I was able to complete it twice without resorting to anything fancy, so what's the point?

You will have to do fancy things to kill stronger stuff later on in the game.

I think the combat system is perfect. You arn't limited to the same set of attacks over and over again, you can combine them all pretty much however you like.
