Played God of War yet? - Page 3

Dude got it today, and just beat it, it kinda made me beat it since I couldnt put it down, but God of War is exactly that god. Definatly not for the Kiddies. Wait till you see the ending.... Sequal is a must.

I played the game straight through last night... look for the review to be posted soon, probably today.

God of War is a solid game... no two ways about it. A few of the puzzles were pretty hard, and one boss battle took me awhile to get the just of... but I really liked the game overall. Seeing the Kratos storyline come full circle was a nice payoff, too.

I actually prefer God of War over DMC3, as it's more forgiving for those who are less-skilled-- but still want to be challenged without getting overwhelmed or frustrated.

The soundtrack is also a masterpiece.

You beat it one night? Was it a serious sit-down gameathon to get through it in one night or did you just breeze through it?

I'm quite disappointed if it was that short.

I played it for 11 hours... straight... and that was with a little help from a guide (since I was on a schedule)-- plus it was on Easy to expedite things. Normal mode offers more of a challenge, and I won't even get into Hard and God modes.

Ah, so without the guide help and on at least Normal mode, would you say 15 is a fair assumption? 15 is pretty decent/average for action games nowadays.

Also, I'm surprised that you had no mention of the lesbian sex mini-game in your review. Was it taken out of the final version of the game?

15 hours sounds about right for Normal Mode.

The "lesbian sex scene" actually is an optional event after defeating the Hydra. It's not actually displayed, and Kratos is a central figure in the tryst. It really wasn't that big a deal in the end... although the girls do display some rather nice... assets.

What was the point of making it optionall?

The optional part is because it comes in right after a cut scene and when you go up to the bed w/ the girls on it he will talk to them but if you jump up on the bed and use the grapplr button the mini game starts and basically you can get some extra health for "giving them the wood correctly"
