PS3 realease date

anyone know about when the ps3 is coming out ?

If anyone does, they work for Sony and either haven't leaked it yet or might be under some sort of NDA.

We'll know more when Sony unveils the system, and I'm certain that E3 will buzzing with details.

If I had to guess, I'd say that we're still about 12-18 months away from seeing the PS3 launch at retail. Japan will be first, the US second, and then other territories will gradually see it.

One thing that won't surprise me will be the expected announcement of higher software pricing for the PS3. $50 for first-party and $60 for third-party sounds like the most plausible scenario.

they always say the console prices and game prices are gonna go up, then it all comes out..and its the same.

ps3=sometime next year
