shame that half the games we may want will be more expensive than the rest of the line up.

but any news about the UK prices?

how much do you guys in USA pay for a normal PS2 game?

we pay on avg here between £30-£35. just wondering if we can work out a ball park figure on what the Euro PSP games will cost...?

Normally its about $50 for most any console game. Depending on developers though, some are released between $30 and $40.
Katamari Damacy (aka GOTY) came out at $20.
Halo 2, $50, Halo 2 with the extra disc and tin case, $55.

ok, I reckon were looking at the same difference then.

maybe £25-30 and then £30-35 depending on the game.


thats not bad considering the games are pretty much full blown versions with visuals to match.

I'd personally expect PSP games to be between $30-40, to follow suit with portable game prices, but seeing as it seems a pretty big step in gaming tech, new media, new console, graphics to shine your boots with (i just made that phrase up.. i dont know if it means anything or not) they might price it like consoles at $50.
But IMO it will stay $30-40

At least initially, PSP games will be as expensive as their PS2 counterparts-- averaging $40USD for first-party games and $50USD for third-party games.

While Sony hasn't necessarily confirmed this, gaming retailers like EBGames and GameStop are both displaying these price ranges on their respective websites.
