I aloplogize in advance for this thread. I know it's probably been done loads of times before, but i thought I'd do it now it's out in certain countrys.
Which one should I get for my birthday? I don't want any PS fan boys answering this poll either. ![]()

Not even a contest, especially since it will be a gift. PSP. Hands down.

I'm not a fanboy, I actually think the DS is nifty.. but it seems like they're just using the DS's design as a gimmick, and the play gets old on the games i've tried on my friends DS. PSP is looking really good to me, even at the price they've announced..

I don't own a ps3

If the DS games were actually more original, I would probably favour it. But right now, it's just gimmicky, and the psp just offers more at this point in time. If some games to show up and use the more "original" aspects of the system decently, perhaps I'd give it the edge, but I really haven't seen anything like that yet. Most of the use of the dual-screens or touch screens seem like an afterthought.
Too bad. I'm getting a psp unless I see a drastic change at E3. |

PSP easily. The DS has maybe one game that interests me (Wario Ware: Touched), but even that is sketchy (as WW: Twisted looks far more innovative and entertaining). PSP has a large list of solid games, and you know it's going to have solid support from various large game companies.

I've got the DS, and it's just sitting there, waiting for a game. Wario Ware will be sweet, but I am not sure how many hours I will put in since I played the first game to death. Guess it depends on how much new there is.

It depends how old you are:
For the younger audience whom have their games bought by parents I'd say the DS as it's cheaper, will undoubtedly have fewer games and many games will be aimed at a younger audience. For everyone else get a PSP first and then buy a DS later when there are particular games released which you are interested in.

I can't help but think that there was a little bit of bias in there, but a unanimous can't be bad.
