Exclamation PS3 and say maybe... Dynasty Warriors?

Think of the possibilities! A dynasty warriors game with no lag and people arnt disappearing when there are 50 AIs on the screen at once. Maybe there could be a thousand AIs cluttering your screen waiting to get cut to pieces all at once, IMAGINE THE HACK AND SLASH POSSIBILITIES PEOPLE!!!

After reading all I can find the Cell sounds so very powerful. I just cant wait.

I guess this is all up to developers and how much work and time they are going to put into a game, but it just takes one Konami, Polyphony Digital or even a Koei to set the bar for everyone to reach for.
But what possibilities do you people see? A new Socom game equipped with amazing graphics with not 30, not 60 but over 100 fps? An RTS game with so many units at once you get confused and go cry? A Dynasty Warriors game as which I spoke of perhaps?
What do you want?

None of that.
a) A TV cannot display more than 60 fps. Pushing for 100fps would be a waste of resources.
b) Allowing too many units on screen leading to confusing would be bad design. And RTS suck using controllers.
c) Maybe, but it sounds standard Dynasty Warriors minus technical issues.

I don't know what I want for the next gen. It would be nice to see new ideas, instead of current crop of games + better graphics + more everything. I sure do what to expect though. Sequels and movie games!

isn't pretty much anything over 60 fps pretty much look the same to the human eye?
But ironically, my friend is obsessed with DW (awaiting DW5 like a crack addict), and was just looking up information on it when i opened this site (hes sitting next to me in class) so.. yeah. random true story. tell your grandchildren.

The difference between 30 and 60 is MASSIVE. Socom drops to 10 or 20 at times anyway and its what pisses me off. Its between 60 and 100 that I think you cant tell the difference since the eye sees like 70 or somthing along those lines but I have played the difference and you can definately feel it even if you cant see the difference.
I wasnt saying only add numbers. Graphics, much much smarter AI, etc. Gameplay could totally be changed. Quite often it is the little things. I was pointing out a big flaw in DW that we shouldnt have in the future hoping people would go ohhh this game too could totally be better cause these limits are gone.

Dont be so cynicle Sunburn man. I was just starting a threat trying to spark some ideas and random fun.

And who says the PS3 will be limited to a controler? Maybe it is, I dunno. I like a mouse much better for a First person shooter anyways.
