from what I gather the PS3 will be far more complex to make games for, but as Konami has proven ...a lil time and love makes a wonderful game.

rather than just dishing out any ol crap as long as its got 'the simpsons' in the title (just an eg. as I think Hit and Run is a quality title).

I wouldnt be surprised if a company set up making a core engine for PS3 games and then selling it to smaller companies... so they can make games easier and cheaper.

I know that wouldnt happen with Sony or Sega etc... but its possible if some companies just cant afford the development costs?

I'm sure the PS3 is gonna be a powerful machine, it's the next-gen and they have to keep up anything XBOX2 might throw at them. Sony doesn't plan on playin 2nd in the graphics department for the next gen. I think it will most likely it's gonna be pretty close since both systems are probaly done already. i'm with Sabbas on probaly being more excited about what the thing actually looks like. I haven't really seen any concept sketches or anything like with the PS2 and PSP. I can't wait for next gen Metal Gear, gonna be freakin sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Leviathan engine will be used as it cuts the size of a development team from four hundred to fourty.

Other development engines are also being used for next gen PS3 and Xbox 2.

However I find it interesting that no developers mention Nintendo.

Maybe due to The Ns lack of market share?

Speaking of Nintendo, have they announced if they will be showing off their next console at E3? I remember hearing that they want to get their new one out first this time around.

I'm sure the PS3 will be revealed at their press-confrence before E3. That's what they did with the PSP last year, so why not do it again this year?

They have a huge audience and 100 times the press they would normally have. They're no fools.
