The codes we have are for a Gameshark, so you'd need one of those to input any codes.

polyphony have already stated in some mags that GT5 will be on the PS3

but they have also said that we shouldnt rule out that a online expansion pack may come out on the PS2 so we can play online with gt3... that would be cool.

personally I don’t want damage.

you spend 430,000,000 credits on a car, then some bastad dings it... scratches that paint. and as GT is a Sim rather than arcade, you will most likely have to pay for the damage.

I would like to have a setting where you could turn it on or off when you wanted.

tho in GT4 there’s a special condition hall where the rally’s have that 10 sec penalty damage collision thing, like they had on Prologue.
so you could have certain sections that you had no choice but to have damage... but surely not the whole game.

years ago they were looking to have damage, but it turned out that even if its just one car company that doesn’t want it, then no one gets it.
it turned out to be Honda! lol... Auto modellista was the game that shared that information then Polyphony agreed that Honda didnt want their cars being smashed about.

made me think...surely there’s a game out there that has Honda's in it that has car damage?? there must be!!!!

TOCA had damage.

I can't believe that it was Honda that stopped us having damage.

I think it would be pretty funny to see a garage full of bashed and dented cars. It'd show up any bad driving abilities and styles.

if you think about games with damage.. like Toca, GTA etc... the damage is very sensitive... so as GT has always been trying to be a 'real' driving sim.. maybe the damage would be realistic... as in tougher?

seriously tho... am I being too harsh on collision in other games? maybe in those type of games I mash my car up soooo badly that I have formed that opinion?
