My most anticipated game of 2005 gets a review! Devil May Cry 3

I loved Devil May Cry, its still one of, if not my favorite game this generation. I was looking around and stumbled upon a topic on gametrailers.com that had scans of the PSM review. And here they are:

The only thing is i'm bothered by the score. They go crazy about the game. But they give it a nine. They only bitched about a few small things. But nonetheless the game is great, so we can all stop worrying. Well, that is if you trust PSM.

Shweet, man, admittedly ive only rented the DMC series in the past. After having played Omnimusha 3 last year i think Capcom is really packing their games with quality nowadays, so this will probably be a first day grab for sure. I think they obviously took notice of DMC2 and decided to make a very worthy sequel to both games, will look forward to chatting about DMC3...

What the? Is that the march issue? Because I have been a subscribed member of PSM for a long time, and I just barely got the one where they review the PSP and Mercenaries and stuff.

the only thing I hate is "the little circle target" thing that appears on the enemy. I just can't stand it, if you can set that thing on or off, it'll be great. but if not, I will not be very happy.

Who's agreed with me ?

...game looks sweet as hell, and from the sounds of the review, it should stack up pretty well.

I really hope this clears the DMC series of the curse brought on upon itself by DMC2. That game was the definition of pathetic.

I wasnt star struck by the original game, either, i do indeed consider it a fun, fast, good rent, but i expect this game to be quite fun from what ive seen from Capcom the past year or so...

I think everyone is treating DMC 2 too harshly. Yes it was embarrasingly easy, lacked a really good story, and the graphics seemed washed out a bit. But, when compared to most of the other games out and coming out, it isn't that bad. Now of course it can't compare to these awesome AAA titles coming out. But it is still good enough to be enjoyable. I think the reason behind its harsh criticism is because it didn't live up to its superior prequel.

Yeah i didnt think DMC2 was half as bad as others, myself, but it was easier than DMC for sure. I expect this game will totally rock, though!!!

YOU GUYS HAVE TO WATCH THESE VIDEO! OMG THEY ARE AMAZING!

The is the footage we have seen for a while now, but this time its finally in high res. You have to watch this! Its about 8 minutes long and in Windows Media form.

Somethings to pay attention to are the juggles. They are definately back. And also the on the fly weapon switching. Its cool how dante can go from the sword to the nunchucks so quickly.

The Best Video Ive Seen In A While!

The trailer above is the opening of the game followed by a little action then finishing with more video footage. This next trailer is continuing the first video it has some spoilers if you do not want to know anything at all. But nothing serious.

Second Video! Showing LEVEL 1

In this next video you will see a new enemy and also Dante's brother Virgel. Who to me looks like a super bad ass. Also look at the directional aiming, definately improved since DMC 2.

And finally here is a boss fight. IMO a very cool boss fight.

I hope you guys enjoy the footage. Cause I now know that this game is going to own. It looks like its going to have a kick ass story along with the stellar gameplay.
