I've beaten the game twice. I'm supposed to have picked up the Patriot, Tux, and Ocelot's revolver. But when I start a new game. I don't have these items. Am I supposed to do anything special?

What difficulty are you trying to play the new game on? Because if you got all that fancy stuff on Normal its not going to show up in Hard mode or any other for that matter.

I got that stuff after playing HARD mode. I started EXTREME looking to see the items and they weren't there.

You know how after the credits roll you can save? you have to load that file for the new items, it'll be the same difficulty though.

Yeah, you have to load the very same file save you made after the credits. Can't do it another way.

Which makes sense, because you can unlock of that special equipment in Normal mode. If you were able to unlock it all in Normal mode, then go to Extreme mode to hopefully use it...that would be a slight unfair advantage against the game.

This way, you have to play the game on the difficulty you want to use the special items in first without them, and then again with them.

Makes sense. And...this game is kinda hard to get through without getting caught. I wonder what my rank on Extreme is gonna be...
