Nice buy Arnold; I'd love to have one of those things in my hands right about now. The only thing that I'd be worried about with an imported PSP is that it isn't 100% confirmed that it will have region lock; as some developers might just end up making games specifically for the US units (though the possibilities of that are fairly slim). Still, I'd love to try one out...

so you drink, gamble and play video games.... do you smoke as well?
![]() nice pictures.... so, what do you think of the Analogue stick... work of genius or the devil? personally, I thinks its genius... played RR the other day on the PSP. its just weighty, well made.... perfect for the generation. as soon as it comes out here for £180.. im buying from the states or Japan. ...with GT4 or NFS Iue: tho I think there will be certain companies that will region lock the games like EA.... other game houses like KOEI, SEGA and Capcom/Konami etc probably wont. Obviously I dont know this for sure, but these are old skool developers that were making games without regional locking for years and years (on handhelds), and one would hope to think they would know a lil more about customer satifaction. I can imagine EA doing it because it would mean more money in their pockets.

doesnt it!
for me the GBA SP was until now the greatest handheld ever for a lot of reasons, to a lot of people it will always be. but when you actually hold a PSP, and you touch the buttons...thats when you know that you have arrived. cool..... I just want to play THUG and Spidey2 on it... (drools....) nay, I just want one NOW! but they are still £233 in hongKong.. too much. I'll wait till mid march. I can honestly believe now after seeing one that GT4 on the psp is a real port, because it can handle it. superb

Hella!
I have wanted a PSP ever since the cover article on PSM...god damn, that thing looked so golden and sleek...unbelievable. It just looks like a ****ing uber-machine. File Sharing, MP3s, DVD Movies, Games, Wireless Networking...*Drools.* I mean, what the ****?! All of this for the same price as the PS2 when it first came out? My Dad was not disapointed in parting with the money for the PS2...if he knew all the things that the PSP does and then some...I don't think he'll even care about parting with the $200. Especially if he thinks about how often I'll be playing the thing. I can honestly assure you that when I first got my GBA, I played that and only that for about three months straight. No matter how many new games I got for PS2, I only played my GBA with my one game. And that game was Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Three months straight...without ever touching my PS2...kind of crazy. Now if I got a PSP...that would be massive hysteria. Especially with the Wireless Networking, music and everything, I would have no need to put the thing down! Do you get my logic? This is going to be a definite purchase for me in the near future. Okay, make that in March. To the Moneycave!!

My God...
I just threw a bunch of MP3s in it. A few pictures. And some movies...my God. Watching videos on that thing is coolest ****ing thing ever. I'm so gonna' pick up a 1GB Duo card sometime soon. PSP is by far the best gadget ever conceived. This thing is going to be stupidly popular here. |

They need to be converted into MPEG4. And converting them is very, very simple.
Download this: http://www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp/ Hold on to it and once the PSP hits the US, I will explain how to use it. It's quite literally a 3 click process -- a baby could do it. Drag, drop, press ok -- pretty much. |
