anyway, it seems that you can import cars from older games!!
tho it makes no difference to me at this stage, this feature should carry over for GT4 on us/uk.
Gab was asking about it, and because it didnt work for me I said that you couldnt import old saves, but maybe I was wrong.

tis a good forum, ive signed up so I can ask some important questions, but then the answers were ones that I had guessed already so its not actually that good unless you want to talk about GT4.. lol

Well, ive done it! a 24 hour race!!


Well I say I did it…. Thank you Polyphony for B-Spec!!! I could of driven it for 24 hours, but letting the AI do it and the fact that you can speed things up 3x the speed is so worth it.
You get really drawn in.

Tho I have since then used my new car (ahem…a certain F1 car… smug) in other race’s in B-Spec, and I gotta say that B-spec is really cool… from judging your pit stops to looking and gauging the other cars, its really nerdy fun.. I like it! And you really can lose a race by a miss times pit stop too!



Oh, and its true… you cant save! So far ive done a 9 and a 24 hour race…. No save. Lol… which in my perverse mind think is kinda cool.

So what you're saying is you can either race 24 hours solid on your own or you can let the computer do it at 3x the speed but have no control over the car?

I don't think that's fair.

sort of.

you can speed it up to x3.. its not x3 and nothing else.

to be honest it brilliant. was off all last week ill, so I completed all the endurance races.

and trust me, you cant just leave it.. you are a part of the race even if your not driving.

you start checking the other cars, seeing when theyre pitting and what speeds theyre doing.. its pretty good!
like racing management. and you can leave it and kip, but your up again in a few hours just making sure that A) the PS2 hasnt set fire to my living room and B) nothing terrible has happened 20 hours in and your trailing by several laps!


anyway, the cars.. wow the cars!!



i am approaching 50% now, and I think somethings going to happen in the game. I cant see where the other 50% would come from seeing as ive completed most of what the game as given me... cant wait to see hwat it is!
