Ummmm, not really. I'd trade my PS2 in a heartbeat if I had to choose between the two of them.

If you want to sit at home and play then yet, it probably is which is why I have bought a PSTwo rather than wait for a PSP.

However, if you want to play on the move, a PS2 is probably not the most portable solution.

I'd still get the PSP. You can lay in bed and play, sit in the living room, play on the plane, in a hotel room, and it just kicks ass. Of course, I travel every week, so I enjoy it more. I'd have an Xbox for the house and a PSP for everything else.

But... but... the PS2 doesn't launch UMDs at unsuspecting owners!!!

Handhelds will always be fun for an hour or two, but the main console will be the only thing that holds my interest also. Having my GBA on the plane the other day sure was nice, but its a rare day that i need it for that...
