Flipping through channels and saw this on..they are doing a pre-show thing right now..starts at 9pm est..in case anyone is interested..

The show was crap. It's repeating now, if anyone really cares.

It's basically a replay of the Source Awards with a few games and some nice-looking women thrown in for good measure.

Things that I took away from this year's show:

1. Rock is dead, unless some rapper talks over it.
2. It's too much to ask to get presenters who've actually played a video game once in their lives.
3. "Hot Chicks Read Cheat Codes" accomplished nothing.
4. Rap is the new music for video games, and if you don't like it... tough shit.
5. Video games have become to new ghetto-fabulous hobby for this generation.
6. Presenters should refrain from toking during taping.
7. Actual game companies really don't want anything to do with this show.
8. EA owns SpikeTV.

Its good to know you dislike rock music. Ive played a shit load of games this year that don't have rap music. If anything punk or whatever the **** you want to call it is in there more.

The show is nothing more than a mainstream/casual gamers wet dream.

The list was mostly sarcasm. What I wouldn't give for music with guitars in it to be noticed in mainstream America, without hearing some punk like Lil' Jon shouting crap like, "YYYYEEEEAAAAHHH!!!" and "OOOOOHHHHKKKKAAAAYYYYY!!!" while every third lyric is a cuss word.

When Snoop Dogg started rapping in the middle of Motley Crue's "Girls Girls Girls", I seriously wanted to kill someone with my bare hands.

Man, I was worried for a minute. My bad, I didn't pick up on the sarcasm. But I know what you mean. There are alot of songs like that. I hated Stainds outside song, mostly because of fred durst talking in it. Yeah, snoop killed the performance by motley crew.

Now you're talking my language. Not enough games have pure rock audio tracks. I suppose that's one of the reasons I'd like to see most games utilise the custom soundtracks option available on the X Box. Either that or give us a wide selection of tracks and allow us to turn off any we don't want.

Games deserve more than this! programmers who make us these games deserve more than this. Hideo should win awards!
