Ya' know,
This is very annoying game, in my opinion. Even with a guide book for source info, it doesn't explain as much as it should.

I mean, when you do the research for items, and you're trying to get the points, what determines who the main developer of the researched item is? I've tried placing Fayt in different positions on the table to see if the item developed gains the points for him or another. it doesn't make sense. it just seems to go at random. Not to mention the fact that there's no way any item will get developed when you have just one person running the line also, unless the item happens to only be worth 1 point, even that takes a bit to do.

I've beaten this game on the beginner level, and earth level. I am playing the earth level again though to see what else there may be to this research thing.

Anyone know a way to get enourmous amounts of money fast on this btw? Going around doing the old 'hack-n-slash' routine is getting rather boring. Even with the gauge full up for the bonus stuff, it doesn't add up very much coin.

It is random. there are several good faqs on gamefaqs.com that helped me a lot. the only thing i can say is good luck, and i hope you have lots of time on your hands.
as for money, if you get 100% completion of a map, you will recieve a bunny that you can sell for money. other than that, the tournaments in gemity are a good source of money.

I bought this game as part of my buy 2 get 1 free deal at ToysRus in October and have been playing it consistently since. I love this game, i cant answer your question, though, i did get into inventing, just havent done it much yet. Overall i think the game deserves the good ratings its gotten. After playing Final Fantasy X this was a nice change...
