Obviously this means that they'll have worked on it more than the other ports...

They should though, even though you can't really mess with quasi-perfection.

What I don't get is why did Yoshi's Island get released before SMB3? I mean, YI is a great platformer and all but I want my SMB3 for GBA NOW!!

Something tells me that the decision to release Yoshi's Island came about due to the success of Super Mario World on the GBA-- as you know, Yoshi's Island is the sequel to SMW, so it SORT of makes sense.

The good news is that there's not a lot of options left for the Big "N" as far as Mario releases go on the GBA. It wouldn't surprise me if SMB3 were unveiled at E3 this year-- my guess is that development is already well underway.

I still want to see some new fresh 2D Mario games on the GBA.

If they remake the mario bros. 3 game for gba then I might consider getting one, but I'm still gonna wait until nokia comes out with its handheld
