It didn't score an 11? WTF?

I did call it, though... I knew that GS XBots would go nuts if Halo 2 scored less than Burnout 3 did.

Burnout 3 > Halo 2. Heh.

'Tis some vintage "whine", indeed.

I know that IGN sets certain standards, but then again we're looking at decimals.

In the end, IGN probably doesn't have that much control onto review criteras. It's up to the reviewers to decide.

Personally speaking, I don't care that GTA:SA scored higher than Halo2. I personally think that using scores in a review is useless, because it falsely gives an objective attribute to games, that allow them to be compared directly, when perhaps they shouldn't be.

That being said, Kasavin shouldn't have spoiled the game in the review. That's just lacking touch, and completely unprofessional.
You basically said what I wanted to say...minus the swearing.

Ummmm.....Maybe they just really really suck at math?

yah know....calculating the average.

As far as replay value goes for Halo.....my brother and I played through the campaign mode cooperatively at least 50 times. I don't even want to begin to try to calculate how many hours we spent playing deathmatch by ourselves and with other people.

That was when it first came out.....And now I own Halo again....and I've played through single player campaign on Legendary five times. Plus a couple LAN parties....

I'd say it's replay value is pretty good....if you enjoy Halo and are good at it.
