First off, if you know enough about a story you don't need to play the game to know you won't like it. I knew I wouldn't like SOE before it came out, and by God I was right.

The ending of FFX never CLEARLY shows Tidus alive and well in SPIRA. It makes a blurry point about his continued existence.

Arnold, just because other pubs like this game doesn't mean it is a good game. Wasn't it just yesterday you were bitching about the reliability of a certain high profile publication? We all have different opinions. This is mine, and I will stick by it.

I only bitch about publications that lack credibility. EGM, IGN, and sometimes GameSpot fall under that criteria. Famitsu and Dorimaga have yet to disappoint me.

That said, Ryan, you know nothing about the story. All you know is that Yuna is out doing her own thang, with a few new faces.

Let me ask you something, Ryan. Did you know anything about Raiden before MGS2 came out? Nope. You never saw it coming. Now, please, let's hold off any further comments. You wouldn't want to say something now and look like a fool down the line when I get to a certain revelation in Final Fantasy X-2. Things are better left unsaid...

I like FF and all but like Ryan i must agree to release a Sequal to an FF game like FFX i don't see anything in it. Everything is explained.
Though i beleive a sequal to FFVII should be created. So much was left out at the end.

Permitting FFX-2 sells well, (which it most likely will) I would consider a FFVII sequel inevitable. By breaking tradition with FFX-2, it virtually blows the doors of opportunity wide open. Square wants more fans to think about that possibility, and rally more sales for the next sequel-game.

FFX-2 sold 1.2 million copies for its debut. Hmmm...hehehe.

All that proves is that there are a lot of perverts in Japan, just like America. Nothing has been proved except that gamers all over the world are techno dorks who love quasi-porn.

Ryan's biggest gripe remains to be Yuna's clothing. Whatever. Ryan didn't have a problem playing with a naked Raiden in MGS2. :P

Yeah well, Konami didn't market MGS2 as a whored out Raiden-fest, did they?

Square sold out with FFX-2, and you know it. They whored out Yuna to sell games. Totally different. Try to keep up, Arnold.

Square didn't sell out. If they had sold out, Final Fantasy X-2 would've been void of any creativity, which is not the case. The improved controls, the much improved battle system (how they managed to improve the battle system is beyond me), the improved level system, and etc. shows Square didn't half-ass FFX-2. If Square sold out, they would've done what companies like EA do and just re-hash their games, which is what Square DIDN'T do with FFX2. Your consistent arguement remains to be the attire. Until you play the game, don't bother arguing with me about it.

I'm not just 'griping about attire'. They are introducing elements into FFX-2 that CANNOT exist. They CLEARLY eliminate Aeons in FFX, yet somehow Bahamut is back. They CLEARLY state that Tidus is gone, as he is a DREAM of the FAYTH. Yet he, too, is back. The fact is that Square is cashing in on fan loyalty, getting their BLING BLING on with fan loyalty. They have turned Yuna from a shy summoner into a whored out nine freak.... you make the call....
